While the size fits well at the waist, it feels slightly tight around the hips. The straight cut is likely more suited to body types with less difference between the waist and hips.

I also tried on size 36FR, which I was able to put on, but it was far too tight around the hips — not a viable option for non-stretchy silk items, as this can cause small holes along the seams when moving.
